ANDREA PANCUR

 

 

Andrea Pancur (*1969) studied English and History at Munich University. She received her singing training by Maria Collien, Renate Glaser, Naomi Isaacs and Ingrid Zacharias.
She founded Massel-Tov in 1994, since 2003 she has been the singer for the world music quintet Bappa E Zittu. Singing led her to acting and since 2000 has been engaged for several productions. For Stattreisen München e.V she worked out a concept for guided city tours with appearances of actors.
Andrea Pancur sings with the modern klezmer quartet, A Tickle in the Heart and as a soloist. Every two years she organizes a klezmer festival  for the Kunstdünger e.V. and she initiated  the Moshe Beregwoski-Newcomers Award for klezmer musicians. Andrea Pancur works and lives together with her husband and her dog on the southern outskirts of Munich.
