Roman Seehon (*1959 Munich) has been working as professional
drummer and percussion player in many differnet stilistics
since 1985. “I have to understand the music that
I perform emotionally. That’s my priniciple. Like Duke
Ellington said: ‘ Every sort of music is interesting
and worth listening as long as it is performed honestly and
comes from the heart.’ “ His interst in latin,
afro-cuban, Indian and oriental music made him travel to
many countries to understand the people and their music.
He learned at Joe-Haider-Jazzschool in Munich (D), at Berklee
College of Music in boston (USA) and at the Acadamy for Popular
Music in Hamburg (D). His journey led him to Brasil, Puerto
Rico, Cuba, Martinique, St. Lucia, India, Israel and to Turkey.
He has perform with Mike Oldfield, Barbara Dennerlein, Götz
Tangerding and Los Reyes
