Zarko Mrdjanov (*1947 Novin Sad - Serbia)
Started to play guitar at the age of 14 and has spent more “working
hours” on stage than all other members of Massel-Tov
together. He was studio musician at Radio Novi Sad till 1970
and performed with the Dubrovnmik Bigband till 1971. From 1972 – 1976
he touired Austria, Rumania, Switzerland, Germany and Italy
with the Popband „Qou Vadis“. Since 1980 he has
been living in Munich and performed with the bands: Carltons-Family
(brasilian music), Family Five (pop music) and the Tambura-Sextet “Sajka” from
Serbia (Rumanian and Serbian ethno-music). He has been performing
with Massel-Tov since 1995. From 2000 until 2003 he was guest
musician at the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich. 2005 he
founded the Swing Trio “Barhockers” together with
the klarinette-player of Massel-Tov.
